My name is Carl Boaz and I designed and hand make Tourney Jigs.
I have been fishing for smallmouth bass most of my life. Over those years, I have caught several hundred smallmouth bass over 5 pounds, including some 6, several 7, and two over 8 pounds. I own and have operated a trophy smallmouth guide service since the early '90s.
I started hand making Tourney Jigs in '98. I take pride in making my jigs. The most important feature of Tourney Jigs is they are consistent in quality. I use only the finest components - all made in the U.S.A.
I am sure you will find my jigs some of the finest on the market. More than anything, I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you would like to see something that is not here, or if you have any questions or comments, please let me know.
I have one of the better selections of styles and sizes of shaky head jigs and lead heads for tubes. Each jig head is hand poured so I can maintain a consistent quality. I use only top quality components in all of my jigs.
I also carry skirts, rattles, and rattle straps in bulk. Send me e-mail and I will quote prices according to the quantity you are looking for.
Please check back as I will be adding new fishing jigs from time to time.
If you catch any trophies with a Tourney Jig, send a picture so I can post it here on the website.
