With the strong popularity of the Shaky Head jig (sometimes spelled “Shakey Head”), we have designed several different styles, sizes and colors of these unique fishing jigs for all occasions. A shaky head jig is a lead jig head with a spring embedded in it to securely hold a shaky head worm. These finesse jig heads provide some of the best presentations for finesse fishing.
The football shaky head jig seems to work best around rocks because it does not get hung up easily. We offer a choice of either a Gamakatsu flat eye hook, an EWG Gamakatsu hook, or an Ultra Point Mustad flat eye hook in it.
The round shaky head jig has been around for a while and it works well just about anywhere.
Our newest innovation is our grass slipper shakey head jig that is designed to pull through grass easily. We also added an EWG Gamakatsu hook for the popular straight line Texas-rig style presentation.
For the “keeper” in our shaky head jigs, we use a very durable stainless steel spring which is smaller in diameter for easier rigging than other brands. We give all of our shakey head jigs a high quality baked on powder coat finish that is ultra chip proof. We offer four different standard colors and we can do just about any custom color upon request.
Regardless of how you spell it, “shaky head” or “shakey head”, these fishing jigs will improve your odds when fishing finesse in all kinds of scenarios.
